2D Animation: Bring Drawings to Life

May 2027 · Four-week studio

Create a short animation while learning the playful fundamentals of timing, posing, squash and stretch, and expression. Also get a 30-minute 1:1 call with a professional artist mentor to discuss your goals and how to get the most out of the studio.

Tuition covers all four sessions. Studios are non-refundable.

Draw it. Move it. Bring it to life.

In this four-week studio, students discover the magic of turning drawings into motion. Through short, achievable animation exercises, they learn how timing, posing, squash and stretch, anticipation, and expression make movement feel lively. The emphasis is on experimentation and completion: students do not need to create a long film. Instead, they finish a short animated moment they can replay, share, and build on.
