Great characters come from a strong foundation.
Â
Many young artists can draw appealing characters but struggle when those characters need to move. This studio focuses on the foundations behind dynamic figure drawing: gesture, line of action, balance, weight, construction, proportion, foreshortening, compression, extension, and silhouette. Students work through increasingly ambitious pose studies and apply the lessons to a finished character sheet.
 Â
